CO was founded by Stephanie Danan. It took fifteen years to become what it is today.

Before CO, Stephanie worked in film and television production—a world where every detail matters, where you learn to see what belongs in the frame and why. The brand began in a small house in the Hollywood Hills, where Stephanie first imagined what a modern luxury wardrobe could be. Early orders were packed and shipped from her kitchen. Back then, she’d say, the stakes hadn’t yet revealed themselves. CO started in a moment of pure belief, like most things worth building.

What followed wasn’t easy. Fifteen years of building something slowly, imperfectly, stubbornly—through factory visits, financial pressure, and a move from Los Angeles to Paris that reshaped everything. In spring 2026, CO held its first runway show on rue de Rivoli, facing the Tuileries, on an afternoon that felt like it had been waiting a long time to arrive.

The CO woman isn’t an archetype. She’s a real person living a full life, and she wants to look exactly like herself while doing it.
